ACM is responsible for maintaining and improving an automated platform that enables internal and external customers to easily manage Splunk Enterprise Cloud (SEC) environments.
As a technical leader on the team, you will maintain and improve Splunk’s SaaS infrastructure, monitor system stability, investigate and solve complex problems, maintain software across multiple cloud providers, and manage cloud server/storage deployments.
Requirements & Skills:
Unix/Linux. You will use the command line terminal frequently.
Software development and data structures/algorithms. You will use languages like Go and Ruby, and interact with other services via RESTful APIs.
Cloud and container experience. You will build and scale secure services on different cloud providers.
Infrastructure or configuration management as code experience. You should be familiar with some sort of configuration management tool or infrastructure as code, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.
Problem Solving. You are able to fix a product outage, identify performance bottlenecks, spot anomalous system behavior, and determine the root cause of incidents.
Technical excellence. You know continuous delivery, testing, security practices, performance, and disaster recovery.
Scalable system design. You will have the opportunity to design scalable services and solutions that make it easier for internal and external customers to manage Splunk Cloud infrastructure.
Technical leadership. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship on your team. You will collaborate with various leaders in the organization and represent your team on large projects.
