Responsibilities:

  • Service Design or Delivery: Developing and designing service delivery frameworks or delivering complex services, which may include processes, methodologies, and technology solutions to meet the specific requirements of clients. This involves creating detailed as builds documentation and architectural plans that address client needs and challenges.
  • Technical Expertise: Leveraging a deep understanding of technology and systems to design solutions that are technically sound and capable of delivering or designing the desired services efficiently and effectively.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborating and consulting closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and constraints, and aligning solutions with these client-specific requirements. Client engagement is essential to ensure that the architectural design or deployment meets client expectations allowing a pre-sales engagement to go from opportunity to sale.
  • Project Leadership: Taking the lead on projects, managing resources, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of service delivery solutions. This involves coordinating efforts across teams and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining quality standards and best practices to ensure that service delivery solutions meet high-quality benchmarks. This includes evaluating the performance and effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentoring and collaborating with junior architects and other team members to share knowledge, best practices, and guidance.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Staying current with industry trends and technological advancements, and actively seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery processes, efficiency, and overall quality.
  • Strategic Thinking: Contributing to the strategic direction of service delivery within the organization, including shaping the services strategy and aligning it with business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Thought Leadership: Providing thought leadership within the organization and, in some cases, the industry, by contributing to the development of standards and industry best practices.

Requirements & Skills:

  • A four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related technical field required.
  • 8 + years of functional experience including a minimum of 5 + years position-specific technical architect experience.
  • Experience with AI/ML and Data analytics services within AWS is required.
  • Experience with both IaaS and Cloud native services within AWS is required.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in project delivery and pre-sales roles with a consultancy.
  • 3 – 5 Years of experience with DevOps responsibilities with hands on utilization industry standard tools and workflows.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience with developing Infrastructure as code and/or application development responsibilities.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience engineering for application and infrastructure solutions.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience designing Data Analytics, Data Platform, and Database solutions.
  • 3 or more of the following certifications, or similar AWS certifications, with a minimum of one being a preferred certification, with a willingness to train for and obtain additional preferred certifications.

  • Project Leadership building or delivering complete projects/solutions: Prior experience in leading projects, which involves designing, implementing, and overseeing complex service delivery or design solutions.
  • Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study, and experience.
  • Client Engagement: A history of effectively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and aligning solutions with client-specific requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience in implementing and maintaining quality standards and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery solutions.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Experience in mentoring and collaborating with junior architects and cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Strategic Contribution: Previous involvement in shaping the strategic direction of service delivery within the organization, including contributing to architectural strategy and aligning it with business goals.
  • Technical and Architectural Knowledge of services solutions: A deep understanding of technology, systems, and concepts relevant to service design or delivery, including best practices and industry standards.
  • Client Understanding: In-depth knowledge of client needs, expectations, industry-specific trends, and constraints to tailor or delivery solutions effectively.
  • • Quality Assurance Best Practices: Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and best practices to ensure that service delivery solutions meet high-quality benchmarks.
  • Industry Trends: Awareness of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging practices relevant to service delivery or design.
  • Client Relationship Management: Knowledge of client relationship management principles to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Possesses an extensive understanding of technology, systems, and advanced concepts pertinent to service design or delivery, demonstrating expertise in implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards.
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of client needs, expectations, industry-specific trends, and constraints, enabling the customization and effective delivery of solutions to meet sophisticated client requirements.
