Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and analytical support to government customers such as NRO/SED, NOAA, ODNI, NGA, and NASA in the portfolio decision support, risk analysis, and enterprise portfolio planning areas (e.g. Portfolio Decision Support Tool (PDST)
- Good communication skills and the ability to document and identify potential challenges, gaps, and recommendations on solving identified issues, work well within a team environment
- Understanding and background in facilitating the deployment and implementation of appropriate Aerospace- and industry-developed digital engineering tools and frameworks with internal and government customers
- Developing, fostering, and maintaining relationships with customers to better understand their portfolio problems and issues and shape them into analytic tasks to be supported by Aerospace capabilities at large
- Have a foundation in Systems of Systems Engineering (SoSE), understanding the key concepts and how to employ them in a complex and complicated environment
- Identifying new capabilities and enhancements to current digital engineering capabilities to better support emerging needs in the areas of MBSE, enterprise integration, and system of systems engineering
- Experience in independently conducting long-range technical and programmatic studies and developing report findings and recommendations
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, science, or related technical discipline
- 2 years of experience in system or enterprise architecting, systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, digital engineering, or nuclear weapons systems
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse set of collaborators
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present methods and results effectively in briefings, formal reports, and informal communications
- Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to learn new skills and acquire knowledge through self-study and proactive engagement with mentors and subject matter experts
- Willing to travel [domestically] approx. 10%
- Position requires a current TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- Advanced degree in science, math, or engineering
- 8 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
- Demonstrated successful leadership of portfolio-level analysis and architecting activities
- Demonstrated successful leadership of broad, multidisciplinary teams involving cost analysis, schedule analysis, risk analysis, portfolio-level trade studies, or budget build support
- The position requires a current TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
