Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of less than 5 software engineers
- Build next-generation highly scalable, real-time risk valuation software
- Build out infrastructure for real-time risk valuation
- Create data schema that accurately models market risk domain
- Work with analysts to develop new ways of modeling risk
- Work with the C++ pricing team to develop risk vol models and dynamics
Requirements & Skills:
- 5+ years working with Python and C++ in a professional production environment
- 1+ years of experience leading a team of Software Engineers
- Experience working with relational databases (especially Postgres)
- Experience with asynchronous programming in Python
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Highly collaborative in nature, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the trading domain and finance (option Greeks)
- Proven ability to communicate with users to understand requirements and to design and implement appropriate solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
