Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of network architecture, integrated design, software, support equipment, subsystem installation, and experiments to ensure relevant safety requirements are met.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize long-range wireless networks at warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites.
  • Engage in systems analysis, engineering, and improving existing POC network technology.
  • Conduct wireless site surveys and guide deployment engineers and technicians.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and run root cause analysis on a system, including packet-level traffic analysis.
  • Strategic thinker with an architectural mindset, adept at balancing short-term and long-term needs.
  • Excellent organizational and process documentation skills.
  • Ability to design, implement, and test in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements & Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, networking, security, or equivalent industry certifications/experience is required.
  • Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation.
  • Proven experience with network capacity planning, security principles, and general network management best practices.
  • Expert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches, firewalls, remote access, DNS, VLAN, VPN, and QoS.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise-level IP networks, including support of a heterogeneous distributed server computing environment, is required.
  • Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Extensive application support experience with network monitoring and analysis software.
  • 2+ years experience with supporting, troubleshooting, and monitoring LTE solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site surveys, deployment, and troubleshooting.
