We seek college technical co-ops to be part of a team of engineers addressing emerging challenges in Maritime Systems. The candidate will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of Leidos contracts. Leidos will provide the candidate with real-world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship/co-op, which may result in full-time employment opportunities upon graduation.
Requirements & Skills:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Must be junior or senior class level, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must be experienced with C++.
- Must have experience working within a Linux environment.
- US citizenship is required, as well as eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Must be available to support full-time co-op this fall onsite at our Arlington, VA location.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement.
- Most importantly, an entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter attitude is required.
