Responsibilities:
- Learn all necessary machining operations, and understand product flow: Learn the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Perform machine setups on CNC machines, CMMs, and scales for all programs and part types including production and/or engineering parts
- Conduct visual inspections of the machine for damage or wear and report to the manager
- Learn to effectively read blueprints including geometrical dimension and tolerance (GD&T)
- Inspect Carbon parts per print specifications using gauges and CMM
- Generate inspection reports based on specific criteria
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Follow all EH&S Safety guidelines
- Comply with all other Collins policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements & Skills:
- HS Diploma. In the absence of an HS diploma or GED, and typically 2 years of relevant experience is required
- 1 year of manufacturing experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
