AWS AI/ML Architect, Ingram Micro

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with end-customers AI teams to understand business and technical needs, leveraging the AWS Cloud platform and AI/ML services.
• Undertake consultancy assignments, analyzing requirements, gathering data, and proposing solutions.
• Manage assessment, design, and implementation phases with a focus on quality and risk mitigation.
• Document assignments and ensure a smooth handover to support teams.
• Provide technical support internally and externally, including leading customer workshops.
• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance AI architectures on AWS.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models aligned with business requirements and best practices.
• Lead or contribute to scoping calls and workshops, preparing Statement of Works.
• Educate partners and customers on AWS value propositions and participate in architectural discussions.
• Identify additional service and sales opportunities within Ingram Micro.
• Evangelize AWS Services through blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking engagements.
• Support regional AWS service development and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with Ingram Micro thought leaders to drive growth opportunities and qualify designs.
• Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase AI solution capabilities.

Requirements & Skills:

• Experience in a technical consulting and business analyst-type role.
• Excellent communicator both verbal and written (English)
• AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certification.
• Significant hands-on experience with Python, R, or other programming languages and independently building prototype applications.
• Experience with deep learning and neural networks.
• Able to technically manage other people on large-scale projects
• Applies knowledge and skills through handling complex problems beyond own area of expertise
• Ability and willingness to travel
