Own the completion of large, complex statistical models of healthcare service utilization published annually in the MCG care guidelines.
Create analytical solutions such as benchmarks and other statistical models that give customers valuable insights regarding utilization, healthcare delivery processes, and outcomes.
Work with large public and proprietary databases to measure the services used by patients and the health outcomes they achieve.
Identify and drive process improvement in data analytics/SQL/Python
Design models/tools that Sales and other partners can use.
Identify sources of data that can drive further insights for our customers.
Supervise the work of other analysts as required on a project-by-project basis.
Requirements & Skills:
Related bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is a plus) and 6+ years of related experience in healthcare data analysis
Solid understanding of SQL and/or Python, with 5+ years of experience
Proven track record of prioritizing work assignments and meeting productivity and quality standards
Ability to work concurrently on diverse projects and maintain high standards for accuracy, integrity, productivity, and confidentiality
Knowledge of analytic techniques and metrics for analyzing healthcare service data, including knowledge of healthcare data coding systems and standard administrative data formats
A collaborative, teammate mentality with a passion for using data to advise decisions
