Responsibilities:

  • Mange on Premise and cloud-based Kubernetes platforms
  • Collaborate with platform engineers and application developers to determine where their application fits within International’s ecosystem
  • Champion the adaption of Cloud technologies within the application teams and business
  • Provide content lead sessions designed to build awareness of Kubernetes technologies within Information Technology
  • Design and implement new cloud-based solutions based on best practices and group feedback to meet application needs for performance, function, security, and reliability
  • Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Kubernetes environments within Azure and ion premise
  • Implement and maintain cloud-based network infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure services and Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
  • Develop and implement security controls to protect cloud infrastructure and data

Requirements & Skills:

  • 3 Years’ experience managing Kubernetes and building cloud-native applications
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Services providers and Kubernetes Services, OpenShift, Rancher
  • Operational experience as a Systems, Middleware, or Database Engineer
  • Familiarity with network protocols, security controls, and monitoring tools
  • A strong understand of other cloud provider solutions
  • A strong understanding of other supporting and competing technologies such as Storage, Compute & Data services, and networking
  • Experiences producing best practices and standards for area of responsibility
  • Create workflow and architectural documents from requirement provided by team members
  • Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Experience in lifecycle management of Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and skills as needed
