Provide strong technical leadership, foster autonomous teams, and deliver on a significant product roadmap.
Mentor and support the professional growth of high-caliber engineers and engineering managers.
Operate as a strategic leader with exceptional technical architecture, project management, and operational skills.
Drive technical decisions in collaboration with product and business partners, balancing forward-looking roadmap initiatives with iterative improvements across multiple teams.
Promote and maintain a culture of operational excellence with consistent, repeatable processes and standards.
Build and nurture strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and with multi-functional teams.
Collaborate with other engineering leaders to establish and drive standard methodologies in software design, development, testing, and deployment.
Requirements & Skills:
10+ years of proven software engineering experience delivering commercial and mission-critical software.
7+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager leading engineers and engineering managers.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer or architect.
Expertise in designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot for RESTful and GraphQL APIs and microservices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Docker, and Jenkins, and cloud platforms like GCP (or similar).
Proven track record of delivery using Scrum methodology.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm Charts for container orchestration.
Experience with frontend web technologies and frameworks such as React.
