Supports the development of documents defining products, product assembly, and packaging of retail finished goods.
Review the capability of the partner quality management system to assess product safety, compliance, and quality risks.
Provides technical or mechanical support to internal and external teams to ensure products are manufactured and packaged in accordance with specifications.
Conducts production part performance evaluations following internal and industrial test standards. Provides engineering solutions based on test result analysis.
Performs root cause analysis in response to nonconformance. Designs corrective actions and solutions to reduce defects with minimal cost.
Designs, tests, and implements tools to support production operations.
Supports management of Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA) Corrective Action Request (CAR) initiatives.
Provides input and recommendations for design validation testing to qualify new components and packaging materials.
May rely on experience with fabrication processes, equipment, and materials to tailor designs to achieve the most practical balance of quality, speed, and cost.
Requirements & Skills:
3 or more years of related engineering experience.
Working experience within an ISO-9001 environment is preferred.
Working experience with exposure from product specification through to the production phase is preferred.
Operational and theoretical knowledge of environmental, vibration, compression, and impact stress testing methodologies is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and associated performance testing protocols (Nintendo Standards, ISTA).
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
