Exposure to error management and debugging techniques using SQL/Developer integration, and consumption of web services using APEX declarative framework.
Create database applications for both desktop and mobile interfaces. Add various components like new pages, reports, regions, items, and other components required to enhance an application.
Must have worked with Oracle RDBMS; should be comfortable with SQL, PL/SQL, and developing various database objects like Triggers, Stored procedures, Functions, Sequences, Views, etc.
IM&T and the wider Hunter Class Frigate programme team will be operating as ‘One Team’ across multiple time zones. Due to this, it will be expected that team members will adopt a ‘Smart Working’ approach by being flexible with their start and finish times to maintain a work-life balance. Frequent early morning meetings (UK) and evening meetings (AU) will be required to ensure we are aligned.
Hunter Class Frigate programme mobilisation is a multi-year programme with hard deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure and maintain the quality of deliverables, managing competing and inflexible deadlines may be required from time to time.
IM&T will be required to provide solutions to a diverse range of areas in an evolving environment, working with uncertainty on a regular basis, and the ability to handle risk, rising to challenges whilst remaining outcome-focused is desirable
Requirements & Skills:
Experience in a customer-facing role, such as helpdesk or consulting, is considered desirable
Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner with stakeholders at all levels
Proven expertise in Oracle Application Express
Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain Baseline Clearance
