SAP Sovereign Cloud Senior DevOps Engineer, SAP

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining and implementing the build, deployment, and monitoring standards for customers
• Drive the innovations and build tool sets for the local cloud delivery and operations team.
• Be part of Agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment;
• Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks;
• Work closely with SAP Lob and the Local cloud delivery and operations team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system;

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, GCP Compute Engine, Object Storage, Azure Compute, etc.
• Implementation Experience with CI/CD pipelines, e.g., Jenkins, ConcourseCI, ArgoCD, Azure Pipelines, CircleCI, GitLab.
• Knowledge/Certification on hyperscaler infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, GCP
• Infra Automation skills using git, Ansible, and Terraform
• Solid experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux-based environments
• Strong scripting skills in any one of the following: shell scripts(bash/zsh), Ruby, Python,
• Strong Knowledge and experience with the Helm tool is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of programming languages preferred: Python, Go, Groovy, Java, RustGo, Groovy, etc.

• Persistence, self-motivation, and willingness to work under pressure
• English (fluent)
