Work with the business to identify/analyze automation opportunities and then design and implement technical solutions to make the process more intelligent and automated
Implement Early Warning Indicators, extract data from unstructured documents, generate a commentary from data and unstructured documents, classification of data, etc.
Implement and deliver high-quality software solutions/components for the Credit Risk Monitoring platform
Demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development teams to roll out important business improvement programs
Leverage expertise to mentor and lead developers; review code/designs and ensure adherence to standards
Understand financial products and work with Credit Officers to play a key role in platform modernization
Requirements & Skills:
Very good analytical and development skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner
Experience working in AI/ML/NLP technologies including Python, PySpark, and Databricks, and knowledge of some open-source AI libraries
Solid understanding of financial products including Repos, Stock Borrow/Loan, OTC, and exchange-traded derivatives
Ideally, 15+ years of experience in application design and development using Java Spring Boot, and REST for implementing projects with high SLA of data availability and data quality. Understanding high volume and high performance, scalable application design experience with Java/J2EE is essential
Experience in building cloud-ready and migrating applications using Azure and understanding of the Azure Native Cloud services, software design, and enterprise integration patterns
Experience using DevOps toolsets like GitLab, Jenkins, TDD/BDD tools like PyTest, Cucumber
Experience working on Kubernetes / OpenShift, Containerization (Docker, Podman, or Similar), Cloud Native technologies and frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)
