Lead Scale’s policy engagement with select federal agencies
Lead and support engagements with standards development organizations and industry trade associations on behalf of the Company
Work to understand business objectives related to portfolio and translate them into Policy wins
Assist in the formation of Scale’s government relations strategy and priorities
Lead the formation of Scale’s regulatory comments
Advise and brief Scale Leadership on policies impacting artificial intelligence policy
Build relationships with relevant stakeholders
Monitor policy, and regulatory changes for potential impact on Scale’s business
Requirements & Skills:
Between 4-6 years experience in Regulatory Affairs or working in the Government
Experience successfully securing consensus for priorities at trade associations, standards bodies
Experience leading company response to Rulemaking, Requests for Comments, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous technical experience such as publishing research/peer-reviewed papers, covering technology policy as an issue area within the Government, working at a technical Government Agency within the Executive Branch, or experience in the technology sector
A history of managing multiple work streams simultaneously
