Architect, design, and provide technical oversight of the development of Intel AI software.
Scope may span the entire stack including firmware, compilers, drivers, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and/or applications.
Provides software structure and validation direction as required to enable Intel AI software solutions that integrate AI algorithms to solve applied problems in various disciplines.
Responsible for pathfinding and providing technical direction for AI software development to solve applied problems across disciplines, including Computer Vision, NLP, and Large Language Models.
Interacts with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or any STEM-related degree with 6+ years of experience or master’s degree in computer science, electrical Engineering, or any STEM-related degree with 4+ years of experience.
4+ years of experience in software architecture including documentation, requirements, architectural simulations, etc.
Experience with Compute acceleration of AI workloads on NPU and GPU.
Experience with performance modeling, analysis, and profiling of key deep learning inference workloads
Experience with Compiler Architecture and prototyping compiler optimization techniques for deep learning networks
Collaborate with hardware and product teams to influence the direction of deep learning HW and SW
Ability to work independently and lead one’s own development efforts.
