Work efficiently with product, marketing, and finance teams to translate business needs into various data solutions (data modeling, dashboards etc);
Design and develop new data ingestion pipelines as new requirements emerge;
Design and implement high-performance, scalable and cost-optimized data models that enable data analysts and data scientists to deliver impactful analyses efficiently;
Independently design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production, mentoring others around efficient queries;
Develop and configure dashboards and reports in BI tool (Tableau) that enable stakeholders to self-serve;
Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operations for allocated areas of ownership.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
3+ years of work experience in data/analytics engineering;
Advanced SQL skills
Experience with DBT or another transformation tool
Intermediate level in one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.)
Past experience with data modeling and ETL;
Familiarity with developing/building within a BI tool (Looker, Mode, Tableau, etc);
