Responsibilities:
Teaching: Instruct a variety of undergraduate courses in the department’s Computer Science (COSC), Computer Information Technology (CITE), and Data Science (DASC) programs.
Research: Establish a high-impact research program and actively seek external funding to support their research.
Collaboration: Engage in interdisciplinary research and collaborate on initiatives across the university. Contribute to departmental, college, and university service activities.
Requirements & Skills:
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution, to be completed by the start of employment.
Expertise in AI and Machine Learning, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and research.
Potential to establish an externally funded research program.
The ability and willingness to contribute to the department’s growth, including the future development of graduate programs.
