Responsibilities:
- Leading automation and engineering teams to execute projects efficiently.
- Working with department managers to appropriately resource projects.
- Communicating regularly with client stakeholders and building trusting client relationships.
- Coordinating client site visits and commissioning activities.
- Prioritizing tasks in the project workflow to meet deadlines.
- Managing all aspects of cost, schedule, and scope of work on projects.
- Diligently implementing change management.
- Ensure the team follows all required procedures and optimize workflows where possible.
- Participating in business development activities
Requirements & Skills:
- PMP or similar certification.
- Engineering degree or technical diploma in an electrical, controls, and automation or IT-related field.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools.
- Risk management skills to assess technical strategies and security controls.
- Technical Understanding of:
- Process Control Software Development Lifecycle
- Industrial Electrical Systems
- Automation Systems
- Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (English) and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Desire to take on new challenges and uncover practical solutions to technical problems.
