Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, create, and control automation projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
  • Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor a team of 4 Automation Engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Technological Innovation: Research and implement new automation technologies in alignment with Siemens’ KPIs and strategic objectives.
  • Budget Management: Create, manage, and control budgets effectively for automation projects and operations.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for enhancement and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure automation processes meet business needs.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation or related fields.
  • Proven track record in a leadership or team management role.
  • Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and industrial control systems.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI, and machine learning in the automation field.
  • Project Management: Project planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk assessment.
  • Budgeting Skills: Ability to plan and control project and departmental budgets.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
  • Experience working on international or multi-country projects.
  • Familiarity with Siemens systems, tools, and methodologies.
