Should be able to create and execute manual and automated test activities for web and mobile applications.
Identify the requirement & define criteria to validate, participate in scope discussion.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts from provided functional and technical designs, functional test scripts, use QTP as the main testing tool.
Write exhaustive test cases, define, and refine acceptance criteria in functional & non-functional testing.
Review automation results, debug failures, and suggest changes to frameworks, as needed.
Record problems and issues in accordance with the project’s problem and issue management plans.
Document defects using the project’s defect management tools [JIRA].
With the application team should be able to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.
Influence and contribute to the architecture across the engineering Team.
Drive best engineering practices within your team.
Work hands-on in a squad & Validate fix.
Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy of the Product.
Create frameworks and abstractions that are reliable and reusable Test Pack.
Track and report defects in an agile development environment.
Implement efficient monitoring and feedback analysis of automated test results.
Ability to produce high-quality work products under pressure and within deadlines.
