Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team to coordinate the development of new features and resolve issues.
- Learn to design, code, and test new features of our policy management system.
- Discover what it’s like to work as a Developer and how technological advances are changing the way we do insurance.
- Explore new ideas and learn best practices in a fun, inclusive environment.
- Use your creativity to help the team solve problems and contribute to important and challenging projects.
- Participate in social activities with the team to meet people and celebrate successes.
Requirements & Skills:
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Software Engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Have object-oriented programming skills.
- Have experience with Java programming.
- Have an interest in Java/Kotlin, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Spring Boot/Spring Clou,d and MongoDB/Oracle technologies.
- Have knowledge of development design patterns.
- Understand the basics of SCRUM Agile methodology.
- Have a good understanding of the entire software development lifecycle.
- Be bilingual (English and French). Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
- You must be available 35 hours a week from May 5 to August 22, 2025
- Must be returning to school in Fall 2025 or Winter 2026 following your internship
