Responsibilities:
- Monitoring developments in technologies and solutions, and making recommendations
- Designing and implementing platforms
- Installing and deploying software clusters
- Designing and implementing structured/unstructured data flows (in batch mode or real-time)
- Making technical performance optimizations
- Implementing DevOps
- Supporting operations (backups and restores, SW upgrades)
- Improving and delivering training courses
Requirements & Skills:
- Hadoop, Cloudera, HDFS, Pig, Hive, Flume, Spark, Elasticsearch, SQL, and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, etc.)
- One or more of the following languages: Scala, Python, Java, etc.
- Docker and Kubernetes
