Provides highest level of enterprise M365 systems configuration, maintenance, and support to include Exchange online, Entra ID management, MS One Drive, MS Teams, MS SharePoint
Manage Active Directory (Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, certificate authorities, Exchange database and migrations, file level permissions, management of group policy and organizational units
Maintains documentation and inventory for cloud servers, hardware and software
Maintains system monitoring tools to ensure the integrity and availability of all IT cloud resources, reviewing system and application logs
Participates in compliance audit activities that include audit log collection, analysis, and reporting
Performs daily backup operations that include ensuring backups are successfully accomplished and the proper disposition of media
Add and configure new services and hardware as required in support of break-fix activities or system projects
Participates in the on-call rotating schedule to ensure 24X7 support
Participates in the IT Change Management processes
Interacts effectively with others and clearly communicates verbally and in writing
Provides end-user support via telephone, email, face-to-face, and remotely
Performs after-hours’ system support during scheduled and unscheduled outages and standard monthly patching requirements as well as license management
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience managing enterprise Microsoft 365 environment
Experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems including
Active Directory (Entra ID), Exchange online, and Windows file and print services
Experience managing a virtualized environment
Experience with patch management
Experience managing backup and recovery tools
Experience managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms to include Intune
Ability to understand and comply with relevant department and/or corporate
policies, procedures, and guidelines as they pertain to company data and
technology
Experience using performance analysis tools to monitor systems
Experience with performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource
optimization as well as configuration of CPU, memory, and storage
Ability to assist with developing and participating in disaster recovery exercises
Knowledge of IT concepts, best practices, and procedures
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work individually and in a
team environment
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and PDF software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a DOD contracting or like environment is preferred
Knowledge and understanding of ITIL concepts such as Change Management
