Security Strategy Development: Define and build a comprehensive cloud security framework that articulates security strategies across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Governance and Compliance: Establish cloud security governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and relevant data privacy regulations.
Risk Management: Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and develop remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of security architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Incident Response: Oversee security incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, and recovery from incidents.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT operations, and application development, to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Security Tool Management: Evaluate and implement cloud security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center) to enhance the security posture of cloud services.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies, recommending improvements to security practices based on industry trends.
Requirements & Skills:
BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or any Bachelor’s computer degree
8 + years of experience in information technology or security
Strong communications skills, both written and oral
Organized, responsive, and highly thorough problem solver
Minimum Certification of an associate’s degree in computers, Technology, or a related field
Strong knowledge of cloud computing architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM), encryption technologies, network security, and data protection strategies.
Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
