Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions for cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality, modular, and reusable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the CMI, including performance optimization and error handling
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our application
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience managing a team of software engineers/developers
- Experience leading and managing a software project
- Understanding or Proficiency with Cloud Orchestration
- Proficiency with a subset of the following:
- RESTful API
- Spring Framework
- Java / JVM languages
- Python
- Ruby
- Go
- Single Page Application
- Javascript
- Relational Database Design
- SQL
- Test Case Development
- Agile
- Working in and deploying software to cloud environments
- Experience with Cloud Security concepts such as Identity and Access Management, Data Encryption, Threat Detection, and Mitigation practices
- Knowledge of Networking concepts
- Experience with managing work tasks via tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow
- System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs
- CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
