Demonstrate ownership of Data Initiatives aiming for data consistency, accessibility, and error reduction;
Create and manage the required backlog associated with owned Initiatives based on high-level requirements/Scope provided by the Product Managers with a focus on:
collecting, organizing, storing, and sharing data, and assessment of needs for data.
data compliance and meeting the regulation requirements for the organization
data sufficiency for following desired player journeys
Define data product requirements and objectives
Make tough decisions on what features to include or not as part of initial deployment, and negotiate state these will be delivered based on the timeline constraints, providing insight to Leadership on status, aiming to improve the value;
Coordinate dependencies and relations with other data teams developing and maintaining data products
Find ways to leverage data flow throughout an entire product lifecycle (not just the design stage);
Monitor data product performance and usage in each phase of the product development cycle, evaluating the progress and providing insight to managers
Act as a liaison between data professionals, business partners, and technical teams
Resolve blockers and optimize backlog completion by analysing dependencies early enough;
Monitor risks associated with owned Initiatives and ensure those are raised appropriately and communicated as needed;
Validate end-to-end solutions prior to Production deployment and post-production launch for owned Initiatives, and to coordinate regression validation and smoke testing for the features indirectly touched by the owned Initiatives with the rest of the POs.
Ensure data quality and compliance with data governance policies and regulations
Continuously monitor post-launch performance on implemented data products and own manager communication related to Incidents; or change requests
Have a clear understanding of the Marketing Data Goals, anticipating new Initiatives post-launch to fulfill the Goal;
