Responsibilities:
- Create, build, improve, and monitor our infrastructure, by implementing new solutions and technologies in a continuous integration;
- Work with Developers to understand new architectural needs and propose solutions, always taking into consideration the most cost-efficient scenario;
- Make sure our code runs smoothly in the cloud with all the best practices in place in terms of security;
- Automate as much as possible, using Infrastructure-as-code and GitOps.
- Be responsible about all things cloud infrastructure at Indie Campers;
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields (mandatory);
- 3+ years of professional experience;
- Strong experience with AWS (mandatory) services, namely, EKS, RDS, Cloudfront, EC2, Route53, Lambda, and CodePipeline/Build/Deploy;
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or other container engines;
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems like ELK Stack or AWS CloudWatch Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Experience in setting up data monitoring pipelines with SQL, Tableau, Metabase
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases with a bonus for experience with large-scale data storage like Hadoop and metastores.;
- Bonus for experience in large-scale online stores, payment systems, or financial transactions
- Knowledge of Python and/or Go languages (Ruby is a plus);
- Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure-as-code;
- Knowledge of CI tools and CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, AWS Code pipeline, and/or Jenkins
- Basic understanding of Grafana/Prometheus stack;
- Autonomous and organized;
- Team player.
