Work with the Engineering Director and other Engineering Managers to align on the overall strategy for current and upcoming projects, mitigating future potential risks.
Communicate strategic context to team members, ensuring alignment with goals.
Assess the potential impact and likelihood of risks.
Analyze current trends, market conditions, and business objectives/goals.
Create and implement strategies for cross-functional collaboration at the organizational level.
Build and maintain strong partnerships across the organization.
Help identify and address cross-team dependencies and challenges.
Foster a collaborative environment and encourage open communication.
Resolve minor conflicts and align team efforts with shared goals.
Requirements & Skills:
1-2 years of experience managing small to mid-sized technical teams.
Ability to understand technical problems and communicate potential solutions to the team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience coaching and mentoring engineers, supporting them in their growth.
Understanding the value of clear communication, feedback, and collaborative support.
