Requirements & Skills:

  • Have obtained a Ph.D. degree from an accredited institution with 4 years of relevant experience in the role being considered
  • Be majoring in/or have majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at the time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
  • Leadership and communication skills demonstrated through such things as academic group projects, involvement in professional associations, including student organizations, community outreach, and/or activities in other pertinent external organizations
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government (USG) security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite)
  • The ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable timeframe, as determined by Northrop Grumman, to meet its business needs
  • Must be willing to relocate within the United States for any of the rotations available within the FTL Program
  • Must be willing to travel to support job role/rotation requirements
  • Have overall cumulative GPAs of 3.50/4.0 or higher
  • Applied technical experience as demonstrated through such things as a thesis
  • Familiarity with systems engineering and/or software development
