Responsible to define the testing environments based on hotspots mapping and identify met & unmet needs of Customers as a part of idea generation to influence future innovation from Bayer
Ensure License to operate crop science innovations by generating data/recommendations, and working closely with the key Regulatory / SAUs / Research Organizations.
Execute large-scale field experimentation strategy of new Innovations in target hotspot geographies
Ensure quality trial implementation and real-time data generation to enable the organization to fine-tune and decide right solutions to the IBSL cluster
Create technical value propositions and differentiated positioning of new Innovations, technologies, products, and Agronomic system solutions
Act as a technical resource for the USS MD team to enable the right technical know-how on new Products, technologies, and Crop Agronomy
Generate recommendations based on trial findings and share them with relevant Stakeholders for commercial purpose
Generate data on Strategic Projects POCs to define the technical significance of new Business initiatives in the IBSL cluster
Provide Technical inputs (Comparative photos, Audio-visual bytes, Summary reports) to support the data and recommendations
Ensure proficiency in Data System tools like Velocity, and FTS for quality and real-time data capturing
Diagnose and guide the USS MD team for performance issues related to new innovations – CP & Seeds and guide the concerned Stakeholders in USS
A key resource in ensuring License to operate with key interface – Agricultural Universities, Research organizations and Regulators
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or other correlated courses in Agriculture / Botany / Plant Physiology
Specializations, Masters or Doctorate are desirable, but not mandatory
Advanced Product, Portfolio & Agronomic Knowledge (Row Crops, Fruits & Vegetables, Plant protection, and Agronomic practices), and relevant working technical knowledge of min 4+ years
Hands-on experience with Bihar geography will be preferred
Adequate field research skills with advanced knowledge of Digital Tools / Analytics / Interpretation
Basic knowledge of Business Engagement Plans
Good in collaborations and networking with Scientific Research Institutes / SAUs
