Responsibilities:
Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive cloud strategy that supports BCG Federal’s objectives, ensuring secure, efficient, and innovative cloud solutions.
Pioneering platform engineering initiatives to design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure platforms that support BCG Federal’s operational and strategic objectives.
Collaborating closely with Security & Compliance teams to implement and enforce policies and configurations that meet BCG Federal and US Government standards.
Partnering with case teams to develop and enhance cloud capabilities, enabling efficient deployment and testing processes to support client projects.
Overseeing the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of cloud resources, focusing on performance, cost management, and security.
Acting as a subject matter expert in cloud technologies, guiding the engineering team and partnering with IT, security, compliance, and business teams to deliver projects that align with strategic goals.
Establishing metrics and reporting mechanisms for cloud health, performance, and costs, making recommendations for enhancements to senior leadership.
Fostering an environment of continuous improvement, staying ahead of industry trends and evolving customer needs to recommend and implement changes in cloud technologies.
Requirements & Skills:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field, with professional certifications in Azure.
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud services, including significant leadership experience in cloud engineering roles.
Proven track record in implementing cloud strategies, with hands-on experience in using Infrastructure as Code for automating cloud infrastructure.
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure tooling such as networking, virtual machines, key management, and more.
Strong knowledge of compliance and security requirements specific to the US Government environments.
Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams, with a focus on developing skills and capabilities in cloud technologies.
Experience in utilizing DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and others to enhance the agility and security of cloud infrastructure.
US Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance, is required. Dual citizens may be subject to additional eligibility requirements.
Strategic leadership and visionary thinking in cloud computing within the context of BCG Federal and US Government environments.
Integrating DevSecOps principles within cloud computing strategies, with a keen understanding of the US Government environments and BCG Federal’s objectives.
Building and nurturing cross-functional teams that embody the DevSecOps culture, promoting collaboration, innovation, and agility.
Demonstrating strong technical expertise in AWS and Azure, with a comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture, security, and operations.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, capable of managing complex projects and leading teams under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Working independently as well as collaboratively in a virtual, geographically dispersed team environment.
