You will be providing advice and analysis on market data products, interpreting and defining business requirements as well as analyzing more cost-effective ways to use data across the enterprise. Your relationship-building skills will be utilized as you effectively interact with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams as well as develop and maintain strong relationships with our market data suppliers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for matching the best product to user needs, ensuring contracts are managed and reviewed effectively, validating commercial frameworks, evaluating supplier product offerings, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and presenting commercial outcomes to business stakeholders.
Requirements & Skills:
3 years plus of relevant procurement/market data experience in the financial services industry
Experience working with or for market data vendors would be beneficial
Negotiation skills and relationship management experience
Experience in interpreting contractual and commercial terms, ideally from a procurement or sales perspective
