Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and design solutions to fulfill those requirements
Develop and unit test changes and provide UAT support
Identify root causes of production issues, implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues in production moving forward, and provide immediate solutions
Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code
Requirements & Skills:
4-7 years of experience modeling, developing, programming, implementing, tuning, and maintaining application systems using Oracle PL/SQL
4-7 years of experience designing Oracle database applications, database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL
4-7 years of experience with shell scripting, PL/SQL packages, procedures, materialized views, and functions
4-7 years of experience working on all phases of the data development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing, implementation, and support
4-7 years of experience with relational databases, query design, report design, job automation, scheduling, Oracle database architecture, the data dictionary views, as well as knowledge of SQL scripting
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
4-7 years of experience in the financial services, payments, or banking domains
