Work with Engineering teams to standardize the Monitoring logging framework. Build automation in the science logic platform to integrate with Azure Monitor.
Work on cloud transformation projects across cloud engineering to provide automation and self-service.
Provide operational support for the Azure Infrastructure including PaaS and IaaS, as well as Kubernetes platform (on-prem and Azure AKS).
Participate in global Cloud Engineering on-call rotation to provide assistance during major production issues from an engineering perspective.
Manage day-to-day ServiceNow queue and make sure all incidents are assigned and worked upon
Manage Incidents and changes as requested by Applications teams for Azure and Kubernetes.
Attend escalations from support teams and provide assistance during major production issues from an engineering perspective.
Build Operational capabilities around the Kubernetes and Cloud platform for handing over to Operations after release.
Find opportunities of siloed manual tasks and build automation to remove manual work.
Document and Design controls and governance policies around container platform and automate deployments of the policies.
Manage the end user collaboration using village site and conduct regular sessions to educate end users on services and automation capabilities.
Drive adoption of the Kubernetes platform (on-prem) as well as Azure (AKS).
Implement automation and self-service capabilities using CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field
Minimum of 8+ years experience in IT automation with 2 years supporting Azure-based cloud automation and 2 years of Kubernetes and Docker.
