Responsibilities:
- Own and develop the central machine learning models that forecast user growth at Twitch.
- Lead the model development process to implement production algorithms, including exploratory data analysis, data modeling, feature engineering, model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Deep dive into mission-critical problems unique to Twitch and design custom algorithmic solutions.
- Author narratives and create artifacts that deliver insights related to viewer and payer behavior at Twitch.
Requirements & Skills:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of software or machine learning engineering experience building algorithms for business applications at scale.
- Extensive experience with Python and SQL for data science, machine learning, and software development e.g. PyTorch, LightGBM, FastAPI
- Experience leading the development and deployment of machine learning- and data-based forecasting solutions in production.
