Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product owners, UX, and legal analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Design and implement new features, emphasizing UX and performance
- Craft complex prompts to perform advanced reasoning and analysis of legal documents
- Lead development of our JavaScript-based Microsoft Word Add-In and its middleware and backend services
- Write clean, efficient code and perform code reviews
- Integrate with non-LLM AI services for features like semantic and similarity-based searches
Requirements & Skills:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- Demonstrable comfort with RESTful API design and AWS
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
- Bonus:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Add-Ins
- Knowledge of AI/LLM technologies and their applications
- Familiarity with legal document drafting processes
- Experience developing on/deploying to AWS
- Python knowledge
