Requirements & Skills:
- Experience in Ada or a strongly typed language e.g. Rust.
- Safety-critical software development experience.
- Experience in formal design processes e.g. UML, MASCOT, and tools such as Rhapsody
- Knowledge of external standards such as DefStan 00-55 and MISRA
- Development for embedded Linux
- Exposure to system testing (on virtualized and real hardware) and host-based testing will also form part of the role.
- System testing on virtualized or real hardware
- Able to innovate, and think critically to solve complex software problems
