Data Engineering/ETL: Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using cloud-based technologies (such as Airflow and PySpark) to extract, transform, and load large and complex datasets.
Model Development: Build, train, evaluate, and deploy data science models and algorithms to address critical healthcare challenges without supervision.
Statistical Analysis: Use your expertise to conduct rigorous statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing and A/B testing, to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
Insight Generation: Uncover actionable insights from complex data, and communicate findings effectively through compelling visualizations and presentations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pharmacists, analysts, and engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and explore innovative approaches to solve complex problems.
Take ownership of the development and implementation of complex Data projects, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of industry experience in building, training, evaluating, and optimizing machine learning models, with a strong focus on model development and deployment.
2+ years of industry experience generating actionable insights from data and telling stories from complex data.
2+ years of industry experience in statistics, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and experimental design.
Solid experience and understanding of data science methods such as Time Series, Regression, Classification, Clustering, Deep learning, NLP, GenAI, etc
Extensive industry experience in data ETL pipeline automation on cloud-based tools (preferably using AirFlow and PySpark).
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Airflow, and deep learning tools such as Keras or Tensorflow.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas in a concise manner
Understanding the healthcare domain, with a passion and desire to make a positive impact.
