Responsibilities:
- Automation, Scripting, Device Management System Development and Tool Development:
- Write scripts (Python, Shell) to automate routine tasks.
- Experience with HTML, CSS for web-based applications.
- Experience with Golang/Python for tool development.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD process
- Implement and create tools that streamline the process for comprehensive device management systems for TVs.
- Streamline the process of working with hardware components, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Infrastructure Provisioning and Management:
- Monitor and manage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Certify TV configurations to meet quality standards and compatibility requirements.
- Server Deployment and Maintenance:
- Deploy and maintain servers that host applications, ensuring their availability, scalability, and performance.
- Certify TV configurations
- Conduct compatibility testing and troubleshoot any issues related to hardware-software interactions.
- Security Best Practices:
- Ensure secure practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and address vulnerabilities, applying necessary patches and updates.
- Cloud Services:
- Utilize AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis) to build scalable and resilient infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional and Deployment Coordination:
- Maintain detailed documentation for processes, and configurations.
- Share knowledge with team members to foster continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, and other 3rd party teams like chip vendors.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, c++, or Go).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies.
