Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of predictive modeling for applications.
- Create and develop data processing tools for different data sources: tables, texts, and images.
- Perform tests and develop a diagnostic methodology to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data process pipeline.
- Validate and clean data from multiple sources. Ensure data quality and integrity for effective modeling.
- Participate in research-related activities.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements & Skills:
- Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in math, physics, statistics, engineering, computer science, computational neuroscience/biology, or related fields.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: C/C++, Java, Python, R, etc.
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as GLM, k-NN, decision Trees, neural networks (deep learning), etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and debugging skills
- Understanding of object-oriented design and application architectures.
- Knowledge and experience in data technologies e.g. spark, HDFS, hive, hbase, GPU process, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in image processing, computer vision, and NLP.
